.eu joins Eget Företag event in Stockholm

Brussels, 21 September 2011 – The .eu top-level domain registry, EURid, is raising .eu visibility in Sweden by attending the Eget Företag 2011 business start-up trade fair in Stockholm, Sweden from 4-6 October.

In Sweden, there are currently more than 73 000 .eu domain names registered to Swedish businesses, organisations and individuals.

Across the European Union in 2010, .eu registrations grew by 6% annually showing that .eu is ideally suited for businesses with cross-border operations, enabling companies to express the fact that they are open for business in other EU markets.

EURid will be exhibiting at stand A41:22 where staff will be available to answer questions about getting started with .eu. Binero and Loopia Webbhotell, two Swedish .eu accredited registrars, will be on hand to register .eu domain names for exhibition visitors.

  • Event: Eget Företag, Stockholmsmässan International Fairs, Stockholm, Sweden
  • Date: 4-6 October 2011
  • EURid’s exhibition stand: A41:22.

Asta Mineikyte and Niklas Jörgensen, EURid’s Regional Manager for Northern Europe and Liaison Manager for Sweden respectively, will be attending the convention and will be available for interviews. For more information, please contact press@eurid.eu.
