.eu reports healthy registration rise in Q3 2012

Brussels, 6 December 2012 – .eu domain name registrations in Q3 2012 grew by more than 7% year over year for the second consecutive quarter, according to the latest progress report from the .eu registry, EURid. Court decides on sex.eu

Brussels, 12 December 2011 – After five years of legal proceedings, the case surrounding the domain name sex.eu is now concluded, reports the .eu registry, EURid. Following a ruling by the Brussels Court of Appeal, sex.eu will be activated on 12 December 2011 and granted to the first listed applicant from .eu’s Sunrise period. EURid accepted applications for .eu domain names on a limited basis between 7 December 2005 and 6 April 2006, known as the Sunrise period.
