Summer issue in three formats: app, online and print

Brussels, 21 June 2012 - The latest issue of .eu Identity, the magazine published by the .eu registry EURid, will soon be available as a tablet application via the Apple iTunes® and Google Play app stores.

“At .eu, we are committed to operating in an environmentally responsible way. With this in mind, we will also publish our popular .eu Identity magazine as an app,” said EURid’s General Manager, Marc Van Wesemael. “This makes it even more accessible to Europe’s entrepreneurs and businesses while reducing the number of copies printed.”

The new issue features inspiring stories from environmentally aware companies with .eu websites, such as a Belgian start-up specialising in organic dog food called Koekenhondje. The magazine also includes straightforward advice on web usability from expert Jakub Nielsen and presents the case for having your own website rather than relying on Facebook for your online presence.

The .eu Identity app for tablets will shortly be available from both the Apple iTunes App StoreSM and Google Play. Alternatively, download the magazine from EURid’s website in Flash flip book or PDF formats at: http://link.eurid.eu/identity.

App Store and iTunes are service marks or registered trademarks of Apple Inc., registered in the U.S. and other countries.
