Changes in Exel Composites’ Group Management Team: Mikko Rummukainen appointed SVP, Business Development and member of the Group Management Team

EXEL COMPOSITES PLC         STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE          1 MARCH 2019 at 09:00 EET

Mr Mikko Rummukainen, 40, has been appointed SVP, Business Development and member of Exel Composites Plc's Group Management Team as of 1 March 2019. He holds a Doctor of Science / D.Sc. (Technology) degree in Physics from Helsinki University of Technology.

Mr Rummukainen has worked with Exel Composites since 2011 in various key positions and latest since 2017 as VP, Business Development. Prior to Exel Composites he worked among other things as a Project Manager at August Associates and as a Researcher at Helsinki University of Technology.

“Mikko Rummukainen has already earlier had an essential role in managing our Group’s key strategic projects and he has closely collaborated with the Group Management Team. With the appointment we want to give him a full mandate running those strategic projects as a permanent member of Exel Group Management. During 2018 we initiated a cost reduction program to improve Group profitability. Mikko Rummukainen has an important role in implementing the program”, Mr Riku Kytömäki, President and CEO of Exel Composites, says.
