Fabege is now concentrating responsibility for all sustainability issues under a company-wide Head of Sustainability with the aim of honing objectives and increasing the pace of efforts in the sustainability area. Mia assumes her new position from her current role as Environment and Operational Technique Manager at Fabege, and has long been a passionate driver of many sustainability issues within the company.

Fabege occupies a prominent position in respect of sustainability issues and in 2015 was ranked the best Nordic property company in the annual Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark survey, in which more than 700 companies were studied globally. One reason for this is that sustainability issues are well integrated into all processes at Fabege and the level of internal commitment is widespread and deep-rooted.

“We aim to remain at the cutting edge and are now further honing our goals for sustainable city district development. Customer requirements in this area will just continue to increase and, with Mia at the helm, we are taking the next step on our journey,” says Christian Hermelin, CEO of Fabege.
