Farstad Shipping ASA – Charter Agreements
Farstad Shipping ASA has been awarded the following charter contracts:
Esso Australia has declared options on PSV Far Supplier (1999, VS 483, 4,709 DWT) to extend the contract for 3 years. Commencement will be in direct continuation from current firm contract.
The AHTS Far Sirius (2014, UT 731 CD, 24,371 BHP) has had its first 6 month option period exercised by Woodside Energy Ltd. This will make the vessel firm until August 2016 with a further 2 x 6 month options still remaining.
The PSV Lady Grace (2001, UT 755, 2,936 DWT) has been extended by Woodside Energy Ltd. for up to 240 days.
Woodside Energy Ltd. has also awarded contracts to PSV Far Starling (2013, PSV 08 CD, 4,000 DWT), PSV Far Skimmer (2012, PSV 08 CD, 4,000 DWT) and PSV Far Spirit (2007, VS 470 MK II, 3,624 DWT) to support their campaigns offshore Korea and Myanmar. The vessels are secured employment until January 2016.
The commercial terms are confidential between the parties.
In Brazil, Petrobras has notified Farstad Shipping that they intend to cancel the contract for PSV Far Strider (1999, VS 483, 4.709 DWT). Cancellation is expected to take place mid November.
