Change in the composition of Finnair's Shareholders' Nomination Board

The composition of Finnair's Shareholders' Nomination Board changes as the chair of the Nomination Board Minna Pajumaa, Senior Financial Counsellor of the Ownership Steering Department in the Prime Minister’s Office of Finland, is replaced by Kimmo Viertola, Director General of the Ownership Steering Department in the Prime Minister’s Office of Finland. The composition remains otherwise unchanged. The other members are Timo Sallinen, Senior Vice President, Investments, Varma Mutual Pension Insurance Company; Esko Torsti, Head of Cross Asset Allocation, Ilmarinen Mutual Pension Insurance Company; and Jouko Karvinen, Chairman of Finnair's Board of Directors.

According to the resolution by Finnair’s 2013 Annual General Meeting, the Shareholders' Nomination Board is a permanent body in Finnair's corporate governance and consists of four members who are appointed annually. The Nomination Board will forward its proposals for the Annual General Meeting to Finnair's Board of Directors by 31 January 2023.
