Finnair appoints two new members to the Finnair Executive Board: Ole Orvér as Chief Commercial Officer, Nicklas Ilebrand as SVP, Strategy
Finnair has today appointed two new members to its Executive Board. Ole Orvér has been appointed as Chief Commercial Officer, and Nicklas Ilebrand as Senior Vice President, Strategy. Both new Executive Board members will start in their roles on May 1, 2019.
Ole Orvér, 53, has a long international career in several airlines, including Qatar Airways, LOT Polish Airlines, Air Berlin and SAS. In these airlines, he has mainly served in leadership positions in strategy, network management and sales. Most recently, he has worked as a consultant for both airlines and airport operators.
Nicklas Ilebrand, 38, has previously worked at Nordea mainly in strategy and product and business development roles. He worked most recently as the Head of Product and Business Development of Personal Banking at Nordea Bank. Prior to that, he worked in international business consulting at McKinsey. He has also served on the board of several companies.
