Finnair and Czech Airlines are extending their code share cooperation, offering better connections between Helsinki and Prague and beyond. As of today, March 17, Finnair's AY code will be added to flights between Helsinki and Prague operated by Czech Airlines, as well as to Czech Airlines flights between Prague and Ostrava in the Czech Republic, Košice in Slovakia and Bucharest in Romania. Czech Airlines' OK code is already included on all Finnair's flights between Helsinki and Prague.

"We are pleased to extend our existing cooperation with Czech Airlines. These code shares bring improved connections and more choice for Finnair customers, and extend the reach of Finnair's network", says Mikko Turtiainen, Vice President, Global Sales, Finnair.

“Thanks to the extension of co-operation with Finnair on a code-share basis, we are both able to offer customers up to three connections between Prague and Helsinki a day effective the start of coming summer season. Moreover, Czech Airlines is offering its customers new services to four destinations in Finland: Oulu, Rovaniemi, Turku and Vaasa, operated from Helsinki by Finnair, which are ideally connected to Czech Airlines’ flights between Helsinki and Prague. We are thus broadening our offer and options for travelling for both Czech and Finnish tourists. We are certain that our co-operation with Finnair is going to help increase tourism between the countries,” Ján Tóth, Czech Airlines Director for Commerce and Marketing stated.
