Special arrangements related to Finnair’s Annual General Meeting

Due to the coronavirus situation, there are certain special arrangements in Finnair’s Annual General Meeting held on 18 March 2020.
Meeting room arrangements: Finnair’s target is to shorten the meeting without breaching the legal requirements of an Annual General Meeting. Due to this, no refreshments will be served in connection with the meeting, and adjustments have also been made to the seating order. Finnair will visibly inform about the additional measures and instructions also at the venue.
Streaming: It is possible to follow the Annual General Meeting video webcast by using the following link: https://finnairgroup.videosync.fi/2020-0318-agm. The video webcast streams the speeches of the Chairman of the Board of Directors and the CEO as well as the presentation slides of other agenda items.
It is not possible to comment or vote over the webcast and shares of a shareholder participating via the webcast are not considered to be represented in the Annual General Meeting. The meeting language is Finnish. Simultaneous translation or subtitles are not available in the webcast.
Use of a representative: Finnair is strongly recommending that any shareholders who have recently visited a risk area for coronavirus infection, who have respiratory symptoms, or who belong to a risk group, consider that they would not participate in person. Shareholders may choose to authorise another person to represent them at the meeting, if required. Alternatively, shareholders can use a representative appointed by Finnair, namely Finnair’s SVP, Legal, Mr. Sami Sarelius. A power of attorney template and the instructions will be published in the company’s website company.finnair.com on Sunday 15 March 2020 at the latest.
The company follows the development of coronavirus and health officials’ statements and estimates whether further precautionary measures would be required in order to ensure a safe environment both for the employees and the shareholders of Finnair.
