New All-Time High for First Camp in July

The First Camp Group – Northern Europe’s largest camping and resort chain – has just closed July 2025 with its highest monthly revenue ever. Demand has been strong across all guest nationalities, and the company’s strategic initiatives ahead of the 2025 season are clearly showing results. First Camp surpassed its previous July record with a total revenue increase of approximately 8 percent in local currency compared to July 2024.

Camping revenue increased by more than 7%, while cabin revenue rose by over 4%. On-site sales (including food, beverages, and activities) saw even stronger growth. The year-on-year comparisons are apples-to-apples and exclude the impact of new acquisitions.

“A strong signal in a challenging market”

"Achieving yet another revenue record at a time when many households are still impacted by economic uncertainty highlights both the enduring appeal of camping holidays and the strength of First Camp’s offering. Our investments in product development, guest experience, and marketing are clearly paying off. I want to thank all our amazing team members who’ve made this possible by constantly staying sharp – and of course, a big thank you to all our guests. Despite high visitor volumes, we’ve also seen a continued improvement in guest satisfaction compared to last year," says Johan Söör, CEO of First Camp.

Top Destinations in July 2025

The five First Camp destinations with the highest year-on-year growth in accommodation revenue in July 2025 were:

  2. Lunde-Telemark: +23%
  3. Duse Udde-Säffle: +22%
  4. Tempelkrogen-Holbæk: +20%
  5. Karlstorp-Halmstad: +19%

First Camp’s loyalty program, First Camp Club, also continues to break records and now boasts 240,000 members.
