Tisserand Aromatherapy, an aromatherapy and essential oil specialist, announces first products in a five year collaboration with the National Trust.

Infused with pure essential oils the Tisserand Aromatherapy Inspired by National Trust range has been blended by hand to recreate the natural aromas of gardens and parks cared for by the National Trust.

The first products in the collection, featuring four fragrances: Rose Garden, Lavender Walk, Citrus Escape and Cedar Retreat, will launch on 1 April 2014 and will include a range of perfume roller balls, bath oils and scented sachets.

“With such a strong understanding of flowers, plants and essential oils, Tisserand Aromatherapy are the perfect partners for this project,” said Phillippa Green, Brand Licensing Manager, National Trust. “They have created fragrances which beautifully capture the essence of all that is special about a visit to a favourite National Trust garden or park.”

Ellen O’Gorman, project manager, Tisserand Aromatherapy said,

“It’s been fantastic working together with the National Trust, combining our joint love and knowledge of botanicals, to create this range.

“The fragrances celebrate the famous gardens and outdoor places looked after by the National Trust and evoke memories of visits, with a modern, contemporary twist to appeal to its varied and dynamic following.”

Rose Garden features essential oils of rose, peach and just a hint of sandalwood, known for its harmonising properties. The delicate scent conjures a morning stroll through a dewy rose garden in the beautiful grounds of Polesden Lacey or Dunham Massey.

Lavender Garden blends essential oils of lavender and chamomile, both known for their calming properties. It evokes a scented journey to the fragrant lavender gardens that sweep through Belton House and Lytes Cary Manor.

Citrus Escape blends essential oils of lemon, orange and mint, all known for their uplifting benefits, and was inspired by Hanbury Hall and Saltram with their grand orangeries and aromatic citrus plants.

Cedar Retreat features essential oils of cedar, clove and sandalwood, known for its relaxing properties. Deep and resiny this fragrance conjures an afternoon unwinding in the majestic shade of the great cedars at Calke Abbey and Tredegar House.

The roller balls will be available in all four fragrances, while the bath oils and scented sachets will be available in the Rose Garden and Lavender Walk fragrances.

The perfume roller balls, bath oils and scented sachets will be available in all four fragrances. There will also be a three pack of the scented sachets available in either the Rose Garden or Lavender Walk fragrances.

The products will be available from 1 April 2014 and will be priced as follows: perfume roller balls at £7, bath oils at £11.50, single scented sachets at £3.75 and 3 x scented sachets at £8.75. With each purchase supporting the National Trust’s work as an independent charity looking after special places for ever, for everyone.
