Fortum cancels tomorrow's Annual General Meeting 2020, postpones to a later date

Fortum takes the threat of the Corona virus seriously and has, based on the development of the situation and the announcement by the Finnish Government today, decided to cancel tomorrow’s Annual General Meeting.
Today the Finnish Government announced that public gatherings will be limited to a maximum of ten persons. Consequently, Fortum’s Board of Directors has today decided to cancel the Annual General Meeting, even though an Annual General Meeting of a listed company is not a public gathering.
Fortum will convene the Annual General Meeting at a later stage.
