Gapwaves invited to speak about its 5G enabling mm-waveguide technology at Orange and IWPC’s antenna conference in Paris
For the International Wireless Industry Consortium’s (IWPC) members, telecom operator, Orange, arranges the conference “Antenna Evolution Towards 5G”. The conference explores the potential for 5G antenna deployment focusing on Massive MIMO, Beam Steering and Advanced Antenna Systems.
Gapwaves has been invited to speak at the conference and will present its 5G enabling gap waveguide technology. A technology that permits cost efficient high-volume production of energy efficient, high performing antenna systems.
Telecom operator giant, Orange hosts IWPC members in Paris to share views on the potential for 5G antenna deployment on legacy sites, new vertical market requirements, Internet of Things (IoT) and other connected technology use-cases.
Gapwaves has been invited to speak at the conference and will hold a presentation on the topic System Analysis and Implementation of 28 GHz Advanced Antenna System for 5G. “We are honored to have been invited to speak at this conference considering both the relevance of the topic and the list of companies participating. IWPC is an important forum connecting system suppliers with operators”, says Lars-Inge Sjöqvist, CEO at Gapwaves.
Gapwaves recently announced the successful completion of phase one of developing a 28GHz antenna with integrated chip-set and analog beam forming for 5G networks (see earlier press release here).
The conference will take place at Renaissance Paris La Defense during September 24-27, 2018. “Please find more information about the conference on https://www.iwpc.org/workshops/2018/2018-09-Orange/agenda.html
