Today, GARO can present the GARO Entity Home wallbox – a new wallbox based on the GARO Entity technology platform and developed especially for connected homes. Combining advanced technology with ease of use, this new product offers a new, safe, cost-effective and reliable charging solution for consumers wanting to charge their electric vehicles at home.

GARO Entity Home has a compact and stylish design that blends seamlessly with home environments and is equipped with smart functions to optimise the charging process. The GARO Connect app enables you to manage, control and monitor the charging process directly from your smartphone. For example, the app makes it easy to schedule charging based on the hourly electricity price, regardless of the electricity supplier. Together with GARO Entity Balance, the wallbox can dynamically balance its power use, enabling the user to charge their vehicle in a safe and energy-efficient manner without overloading their home electrical system. GARO Entity Home is ready for future upgrades and integrations with smart home systems. What’s more, it also supports both single-phase and three-phase charging, making it compatible with all types of electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids on the market.

Just like the other wallboxes in the GARO Entity product family, GARO Entity Home is third-party tested* and certified compliant with the international charging standard, making it completely unique in the market. This means that you get a safe wallbox with all the necessary protection required by the electrical standard built-in.

“We are proud to be able to offer a wallbox that makes it even more cost-effective for homeowners to charge their electric vehicles at home. It should be both safe and convenient for homeowners to charge their electric vehicles. Today, there are many companies in the market offering different solutions. With our experience of electrical safety dating back to 1939, it’s a given for us here at GARO to offer a wallbox tested and approved by an independent party, making GARO’s wallboxes the safest on the market and providing peace of mind. Our new wallbox takes us another step towards making sustainable choices available to and convenient for more people,” says Niklas Rönnäng, Business Area Director GARO E-mobility.

GARO Entity Home is available from today, 25 September.
