Today Getinge announced the launch of the Corin OR table and Ezea surgical light at the upcoming Association of periOperative Registered Nurses (AORN) conference in Nashville, Tennessee being held March 10-12, 2024. The innovative technologies are designed to streamline workflows for surgical departments while supporting high levels of patient and physician safety.

“As surgical techniques continue to evolve and the demand for enhanced safety and efficiency grows, Getinge remains committed to its mission of delivering impactful solutions with the highest levels of support for surgeons and operating room staff,” said Don McAllister, Vice President of U.S. Surgical Workflows and Infection Control Sales and North America Service at Getinge. “The Corin OR table and Ezea surgical light are the newest examples of our continued dedication to providing our customers with innovative solutions that can streamline workflows.”

During AORN, attendees will be able to access information that highlights the advantages of the Corin OR table and Ezea surgical light, as well as the full range of products offered in Getinge’s portfolio of acute care, surgical workflows, infection control, and digital health solutions. The Maquet Corin OR table is a smart mobile surgical table that incorporates advanced feedback lighting, intuitive controls, collision detection, overload detection, and tipping prevention, to enhance safety for both patients and operating room staff. Customizable user sequences and preset surgical positions support higher levels of flexibility and efficiency in patient positioning.

The Maquet Ezea light offers user friendly simplicity and robust reliability for a wide range of clinical settings, including ASCs and ICUs. Features include external handles and lightweight design, allowing for efficient maneuvering and quick setup.

“Hospital systems nationwide are experiencing a need for strategic and proven-effective solutions that ensure the highest levels of operational efficiency, as well as the proper care and safety of patients,” said Stefan Runnström, Director, Commercial Operations, Surgical Workflows, North America at Getinge. “The Corin OR table and Ezea surgical light are designed to address challenges in OR management, allowing physicians to devote their full attention to patient care while ensuring effective risk management.”
