Getinge Canada announced today the launch of version 4.0 software available for the Servo-u intensive care ventilator. Version 4.0 offers Transpulmonary Pressure Monitoring and Auto Lung Recruitment Maneuvers to its complement of options for personalized lung protection and weaning.
The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has underscored the need for personalized ventilation for critically ill patients. The influx of coronavirus cases in Canada over the past year has increased the demand for intensive care ventilators. Now more than ever, options for personalized lung protection within an easy-to-operate interface have become increasingly important.
