Today, Getinge USA Sales, LLC and SurgicalOne, Inc. announced a new strategic distribution partnership in the promotion of autofluorescence and fluorescence imaging technology by Fluoptics, part of Getinge.

Fluoptics’ autofluorescence and fluorescence imaging technology helps guide surgeons with greater precision, efficiency and safety during thyroid/parathyroid and plastic surgery procedures.

With imaging technology playing an increasingly critical role in thyroid/parathyroid and plastic surgery procedures, there is a need for healthcare providers to have access to leading technology, as well as a trusted resource to deliver education and support.

SurgicalOne is a surgical instrumentation and capital equipment supplier, specializing in surgical microscopy and visualization.

“SurgicalOne’s understanding of complex healthcare clinical needs and the company’s collaborative approach to the procurement process, uniquely compliment how Getinge works,” said Joseph Knight, Getinge’s Vice President, Corporate Accounts, GPO, HCA & Fluoptics. “This partnership can have a profound impact on the medical and surgical community, with broader representation and distribution of the superior surgical imaging products developed by Fluoptics.”

“SurgicalOne is honored to partner with Fluoptics, part of Getinge,” said Albert Ludvigsen, CEO, SurgicalOne. “Our 20 years of experience in Surgical Sales and Service marries well with Fluoptics' time-tested fluorescence detection product expertise. We look forward to serving this vibrant market together.”
