Getinge pledges support to the Sweden-Indonesia Sustainability Partnership (SISP) Healthcare Platform
Getinge formalized its support to the SISP Healthcare Platform in a launch ceremony on 26 April 2024, attended by the Indonesian Minister of Health, H E Budi Gunadi Sadikin, and Ambassador of Sweden to Indonesia, H E Daniel Blockert.
Launched in 2020, the SISP Healthcare Platform aims to develop sustainable healthcare in Indonesia through utilizing Swedish expertise and innovation, particularly in areas like digitalization, cancer care, and critical emergency care.
Getinge’s contribution, aligned with their purpose to make life-saving technology accessible for more people, includes providing training to key Indonesian teaching hospitals.
”The training will cover various areas, including the digitalization of Central Sterile Supply Departments (CSSDs), utilization of Hybrid Operating Rooms (OR) to improve workflow and safety while reducing costs, efficient anesthesia delivery in the OR, and the use of Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) in critical care,” says Teodor Johansson, Managing Director of Getinge South East Asia.
He concludes:
“With this collaboration, we hope to accelerate the adoption of digital health innovations and medical technologies, with improved patient care and a more sustainable future as the outcomes.”
