Getinge announced that the first installation of Flow Anesthesia machines has been completed at Cincinnati Children’s hospital.

Cincinnati Children’s in Ohio is the top children’s hospital in the United States for 2023-2024 according to U.S. News and World Report’s annual ranking. Getinge is proud to help provide optimal care and safety for patients through the Flow anesthesia platform.

“This important collaboration with Cincinnati Children’s is a reflection of Getinge’s commitment to bringing our U.S. customers the high-quality products and support they need for their patients,” said Therese Mueller, Vice President of Sales, Acute Care Therapies at Getinge. “Our Flow Family machines deliver personalized anesthesia through a series of unique and innovative features, and we look forward to bringing this platform to Cincinnati.”

The addition of the Flow anesthesia systems in the ORs at Cincinnati Children’s expands the partnership with Getinge which started with Servo ventilators in the intensive care units. Using Servo ventilation technology, the Flow anesthesia systems address the challenges of providing effective ventilation and anesthesia to patients.

The addition of Flow anesthesia in the OR can help ensure optimal and consistent care for even the most complex patient groups.
