Reducing water loss in piping systems
How can water resources be conserved? How do we need to change managing water and sanitation services? The Asian Development Bank (ADB) invited Sanjay Patel from GF Piping Systems (GF), to speak about how pressure management technology and digitization of utility networks can be a solution to water losses at their e-Marketplace for Water-Secure and Resilient Asia and Pacific, on 26 October, 9 a.m CEST/ 3 p.m. Manila time.
From 18-27 October the Asian Development Bank (ADB), as a promoter of social and economic development in Asia, hosts an e-Marketplace for a "Water-Secure and Resilient Asia and Pacific" and invited knowledge partners who can share best practices and providers of digitalization solutions that deliver smart, resilient, safe, and inclusive water management and services to display and discuss the subjects around conserving water resources, managing water and sanitation services and strengthening enablers for water security.
"One in every 300 welds fail yearly due to improper installation across different materials," says Sanjay Patel honored to host the session "How to reduce water loss in your piping system." He will explain how Ultrasonic Non-Destructive Testing, a digital cloud-based field data collector and the introduction of pressure management can reduce water loss. Sanjay confirms, "This will save notable costs for utilities. At the same time we can work together on providing a more sustainable environment for all of us and to solve water loss for life."
Sanjay Patel is Global Business Development Manager Specialized Solutions at GF. The material scientist has been employed by the leading flow solutions provider worldwide for 20 years in many varied positions. He is a UK citizen, living in Switzerland. His expertise lies in many industrial applications in the correct use of plastic piping.
