Gjensidige to postpone public offering

The Board of Directors of Gjensidige Forsikring has decided to postpone the planned market listing of the company until 2009.

The reason for the postponement is the turbulence in securities markets. The company’s goal was to be listed on the stock exchange sometime in 2008.
