PRESS RELEASE

Middelfart, Denmark. November 21, 2024

Effective December 1, 2024, Martin Vorgod will assume the role of CEO at Global Risk Management (GRM). He currently serves as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at the same company where, since joining in 2022, he has focused particularly on streamlining and professionalizing the organisation to work even closer to its maritime customers and the green transition ahead including new products within energy and emission certificates.

Martin Vorgod brings extensive leadership experience and deep insight into the daily operations of sales and commodity trading, honed during his tenure as Global Head of FX Sales at Danske Bank. At Danske Bank, he led the bank’s commodity trading initiatives and spent several years in New York, where he successfully relaunched Danske Bank’s foreign exchange trading activities and fostered a strong internal corporate culture.

As CCO, Martin Vorgod has delivered exceptional results, secured new clients and enhanced relationships with existing ones. He is well-positioned to continue driving these efforts, as he transitions into the CEO role, leveraging his comprehensive understanding of the company. He succeeds Peder Møller, who will take up a new position as Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Bunker Holding Group.
