Paris Major to be first Counter-Strike event to feature live on TikTok ahead of last CS:GO Major

BLAST has partnered with TikTok ahead of this week’s historic last ever CS:GO Major in Paris where the event will feature live on TikTok for the first time at a Counter-Strike event. 

BLAST and TikTok will team up in a bid to help bring esports and gaming fans closer to the highly-anticipated Paris Major with a number of integrated and bespoke features on the world's leading destination for short-form content.  

The exclusive BLAST.tv Major hashtag (#BLASTTVMajor) has already accumulated over 100 million views on TikTok, where the audience have been asked to share their Paris Major experiences and use bespoke filters to show their support. 

The BLAST.tv Major will see 24 of the world’s best teams descend onto Paris to compete for a $1.25 million prize pool and a chance at claiming the title of the world’s best Counter-Strike team. This week’s event will draw over 50,000 fans in the Accor Arena and be broadcast globally in more than 100+ territories and in 24 different languages.


TikTok will offer to its esports community a new opportunity to discover one of a kind content and to share with 1 billion users around the world their passion for esports. In-app, esports fans will get access to a dedicated in-app page that will bring them, thanks to exclusive content, a unique perspective on the Paris Major. This includes special on-site reporters

and a number of other features which will allow fans to get closer to the action unfolding in the French capital. The Paris Major will have multiple stars featuring on the dedicated TikTok page and creating exclusive content including the likes of LittleBigWhale, Rara, Rumathra, SwammyXO and many more.
