Graninge buys hydropower from Birka Energi

Graninge buys hydropower from Birka Energi Graninge AB (publ) has acquired Birka Energi's shares in Gulsele Kraft AB corresponding to 18.3% of the share capital. As part of the transaction, Graninge received a one-year option to purchase power from Birka Energi. The transaction is valued at MSEK 318. Gulsele Kraft AB owns the Gulsele and Hällby hydropower plants at the Ångerman River and also has rights to a share of power from the Edensforsen power plant. Gulsele Kraft's total production volume amounts to 700 GWh in a normal year. Graninge already owned 31.7% of the shares in Gulsele Kraft AB prior to the transaction.
