Two new members elected to the Board of Graninge Two new members were elected to the Board of Graninge AB (publ) at the Annual General Meeting in Stockholm today. Marc Boudier, 46 years old, was appointed as the new Director of Electricité de France's (EdF) European Division on 1 May this year after succeeding Marc Riutort, and will now succeed Mr. Riutort as a member of Graninge's Board of Directors. Marc Boudier is an economist who began his career working with foreign trade matters in the French Ministry of Finance. In 1984 he was appointed as advisor to the Minister of Industry and during 1985-1990 served as advisor to the President of France in international economic matters. For the past eight years, he has been active as Director of the international division of Vivendi, with primary responsibility for operations in Central and Eastern Europe. He participated in development and management of Dalkia, which is today owned jointly by EdF and Vivendi and is a leading provider of energy services and facility management. Dr. Werner Brinker, 49 years old, is Managing Director of Energieversorgung Weser-Ems AG (EWE AG) in Oldenburg, Germany since 1998. He holds a Masters of Engineering and came to EWE AG in 1978 at which time worked with gas-related matters. In the latter half of the 1980s he headed a project for combustion of hazardous waste in Dörpen, after which he was made Manager of EWE's waste management operations in 1990. Between 1993-1996 he served as Manager of PreussenElektra's Services/Distributors department and was at the same time Assistant Manager of the Permits/Distributors department. In 1996 he returned to EWE's executive management and two years later took over as Managing Director. Werner Brinker will replace Michael Müller, who was killed in a traffic accident at the beginning of this year. The new deputy member of the Board is Jean-Rémy Cauquil, 41 years old, who came to Graninge in September last year and is today Deputy Managing Director. Between 1999-2000 he worked as an international advisor to the President of the EDF Group, Francois Roussely. He was given this post after spending three years in Brazil, where he started out as Marketing Manager for Large Customers and finished as Chief of Staff and Director of the Executive Committee of LIGHT Servicos de Electricidade - a company with 3 million customers in Rio de Janeiro. Prior to this he was active in EdF for a period, among other things in distribution operations. After the Annual General Meeting, Graninge's Board of Directors has the following composition: Dr. Bo Rydin, Chairman, Christina Strandman Ullrich, Marc Boudier, Dr. Werner Brinker, Mats Cederholm, Lars Enslöf, Bo Källstrand and Anders Nordin. Deputies: Robert Diethrich and Jean- Rémy Cauquil. The Annual General Meeting approved the change of the company's seat to Sollefteå. The Meeting also voted in favour of a dividend of SEK 4.30/share, of which SEK 1 comprises a bonus.
