Demand for convenient, everyday solutions continues to grow. To help consumers incorporate more greens into their diets, Greenfood and Dagab are expanding their partnership. As of January 16, 2025, Greenfood will become the primary supplier, delivering larger volumes of fresh-cut products to Dagab. This includes processed fruits and vegetables such as baby leaves in various mixes.

Greenfood is one of Northern Europe’s leading players in sustainable and healthy foods. The company has experienced significant growth in recent years and continues to see rising demand as more people adopt plant-based lifestyles centered around fruits and vegetables.

In 2023, Greenfood and Dagab signed a supplier agreement. After 18 months of reliable deliveries and a well-functioning partnership, the companies are now extending the agreement.

“We are now taking the next step in expanding our existing collaboration with more fresh-cut products. The fresh produce section is a key profile area for grocery retailers who aim to promote healthy and sustainable eating habits. In this area, we offer a strong range, innovative products, and extensive expertise,” says Björn Johansson, CEO of Greenfood Food Solutions.

The agreement means that starting January 16, 2025, Greenfood will increase its supply of fresh-cut goods. These products will be distributed to Willys, Hemköp, and other stores within the Axfood group.

“Our goal is to offer Sweden’s most modern customer proposition on a daily basis. Through our partnership with Greenfood, we can provide more consumers with healthy shortcuts in the form of processed vegetables that make cooking easier,” says Daniel Månsson, Category manager for fruit and vegetables at Dagab.
