New Managing Director for GU School of Executive Education
Effective January 1 2015, Håkan Ericson has been appointed Managing Director of GU School of Executive Education at the School of Business, Economics and Law at the University of Gothenburg, where he has served as acting Managing Director since October 2014.
Håkan possesses extensive experience from sales of advanced services, particularly in the telecom and IT sector. Prior to joining his new position, he worked as a management consultant, assisting companies with business plans, solutions packaging, market communications and methods centred on the effective B2B sales of products and services. In his capacity as a consultant, Håkan already gained years of experience working with the GU School of Executive Education by helping develop and execute the company’s marketing and sales strategies.
Håkan Ericson holds an MSc in Electrical Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology and an MBA from the School of Business, Economics and Law at the University of Gothenburg. He has commanded senior positions for more than ten years at industrial companies in Sweden and France.
