Hafslund – Johan Chr. Hovland new Senior vice president Corporate communications and public affairs

Johan Chr. Hovland will take the position as Hafslund’s Senior vice president Corporate communications and public affairs, from mid-August 2012.

Mr. Hovland (born 1964) has since 2011 held the position as Senior vice president, corporate communications and public affairs at Orkla ASA. Prior to that he served as SVP Public affairs at Elkem (2006-2010), Divisional manager and SVP at Elkem Energi (2009-2010) and Production director at Elkem Energi (2001-2008). Mr. Hovland has previous experience from the Federation of Norwegian Process Industries as well as the Ministry of Industry and energy.

Mr. Hovland holds a Degree (Siviløkonom) from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration (NHH).
