HNA/HNB –Group management changes of Hafslund ASA

Today Hafslund announces three Group management changes: 

Hafslund Venture will no longer be a separate business area of Hafslund. Tore Schiøtz will step down from the Group management team but will continue as head of Hafslund Venture and will report to CEO Christian Berg. Hafslund is focusing on the development of renewable energy within hydropower, bioenergy and district heating, and the company is working to further develop infrastructure for energy and to promote growth within Nordic power sales. The organizational change is part of refining this strategy.  

Senior Vice President, Communications and CR Karen Onsager has decided to resign from her position at Hafslund ASA. Onsager will take up a new position as Manager for Global Deliveries Communication at Statoil ASA and will leave Hafslund 30 April 2012 at the latest. Hafslund will commence the process of finding a replacement for Ms. Onsager soon. 

Senior Vice President for the former Group functions, Tove Pettersen, is currently on maternity leave, but will at the end of her leave 15 January 2012 take up the position as Director of administration at Jernbaneverket (the Norwegian National Rail Administration).  CFO and deputy CEO, Finn Bjørn Ruyter, has assumed responsibility for the Group functions.
