Haglöfs’ CEO Nicolas Warchalowski leaves his position after five years in the company.

Nicolas Warchalowski was recruited in 2009 to be a driving force behind the change in ownership from private equity company Ratos to ASICS and to initiate the global expansion from a strong Nordic brand. This work is on track, with Haglöfs now embedded into the ASICS Corporation and a presence in a total of 26 markets of which five are in Asia.

Nicolas informed the Board last week of his intentions to leave his position after five years in the company.

"We respect Nicolas decision and thank him for his contribution in his time at Haglöfs. Haglöfs is a premium brand in the outdoor industry and is well positioned for accelerated growth globally", says Alistair Cameron Chairman of the Board.

"It has been an exciting time to initiate the global expansion, but I am now ready to hand this over to someone to take it to the next phase. Both the Board and I are convinced of the strong potential of Haglöfs" says Nicolas Warchalowski.

The recruitment work to identify a new CEO will be initiated shortly.
