HAGLÖFS' SUSTAINABILITY REPORT PUBLISHED
Haglöfs made an early decision to integrate sustainability into its business development with the goal to become a leader in sustainability as well as in technical outdoor products. When the work of 2014 now is reviewed, the Company can affirm that Haglöfs is one of the world’s leading outdoor companies in the area of sustainability. The development is a result of a dedicated focus that has become a natural part of Haglöfs’ culture. This, and much more, is presented in the report Haglöfs’ Sustainability 2014.
This year’s sustainability report summarizes Haglöfs’ way of working with sustainability issues through the value chain, from sustainable design and product development to sustainable production and delivery. The report describes relevant figures and key performance indicators on Haglöfs’ environmental impact as well as how Haglöfs works with the working conditions at its producers’ factories.
Among the highlights:
- Haglöfs is named ”Sustainability Brand of the Year” by the Swedish trade magazine Sportfack.
- Haglöfs delivers the first Take Care-labeled collection to the market in fall, where more than 60 percent of the range consists of Take Care products.
- Haglöfs carries out six Fair Wear Foundation audits of its manufacturers’ production facilities. At the end of the year, 86 percent of Haglöfs’ total production volume has been audited.
