Haglöfs begins a new distributor partnership in Switzerland
After 14 years of cooperation Haglöfs and its Swiss distributor ACE Alpine & Climbing Equipment AG go their separate ways. New distributor in Switzerland becomes the sports and outdoor oriented Montana Sport AG.
ACE Alpine & Climbing Equipment AG, led by Mr. Richard Bolt, has through long-term strategic work built Haglöfs into one of the strongest outdoor brands in the Swiss market.
"We have had a long and fruitful cooperation with ACE and we thank Mr. Bolt and his team for the hard work they have put into Haglöfs over the years" said Nico Kruis, Area Manager Central Europe.
New distributor in Switzerland becomes the sports and outdoor oriented Montana Sport AG which today is the distributor for Haglöfs owner ASICS. Montana has successfully built the ASICS brand in the Swiss market.
"Montana is a natural choice as a new distributor as we see a huge advantage of being able to draw synergies from the existing cooperation with ASICS. Montana further has the resources necessary to take Haglöfs to the next level on the Swiss market" concluded Nico Kruis.
Montana takes over Haglöfs’ distribution in Switzerland on January 1st 2015.
