Haglöfs finds a new friend in Hargin
Haglöfs has signed a sponsor agreement with the alpine skier Mattias Hargin. The sponsorship is part of Haglöfs' long-term investment in Ski.
In recent days, Haglöfs has entered into a new sponsorship cooperation with the alpine skier Mattias Hargin. Hargin's experiences from downhill skiing at elite level together with his genuine love of the outdoors are the basis for the cooperation which aims primarily to continue the development of Haglöfs' long-term investment in Ski.
“Hargin is not only an unbelievably proficient alpine skier, he is also a world-class free skier. This combination will bring a great deal to Haglöfs for the development of products within our ski concept,” says Carl Hård af Segerstad, Swedish Marketing Manager at Haglöfs.
Mattias Hargin has achieved two podium positions in the world cup, and a fifth place in the world ski championships in slalom. In addition, he was Swedish champion in slalom in 2007. He himself sees the cooperation with Haglöfs as a success.
“Haglöfs seems like a really fun company, and I'm just as much looking forward to working with the products as the staff,” comments Mattias Hargin.
Haglöfs' sponsorship concept goes under the name Haglöfs Friends, and is the company's network of outdoor profiles with different focuses from all over the world. Mattias Hargin is the first alpine skier to be included in Haglöfs Friends.
