Haglöfs Intense – Attitude on two wheels
In the spring/summer of 2013, Haglöfs’ Intense line will be extended to include clothing with functions and details for high pulse mountain biking activities. As with all of the Intense products, the new mountain biking clothes will have a modern design based on a monochrome color scheme.
High pulse activities on a mountain bike place special demands on clothing. Haglöfs developed products for the spring/summer of 2013 that have a special design and functionality to meet the high demands of active mountain bikers.
Ardent Short
Haglöfs Ardent Short is an extremely durable short that can withstand tough conditions and meet the high demands mountain bikers place on their equipment. The design has plenty of attitude and has been adapted to provide comfort during a ride. One of the details is a higher back, which offers better protection when sitting on a bike. The crotch panel and seams are constructed to prevent chafing. The shorts have articulated knees with pockets for knee protectors and can be worn over Haglöfs' padded Puls Bike Short. They are made from the durable, bluesign®-approved FlexableTM stretch fabric and have laminated Soft shell panels in the back for extra protection from rain and mud.
Puls Bike Short
Puls Bike Short is a padded biking short in stretch. Puls Bike Short is made from a bluesign®-approved 4-way stretch fabric. The design, pattern construction and details offer maximum function and comfort when sitting on the bike. Mesh in the rear and at the back of the knees creates ventilation and flatlock seams reduce the risk of chafing.
Scramble Jacket
Scramble Jacket is a very light jacket in 3-layer Gore-Tex® Active Shell. Thanks to its excellent breathing properties, it is the perfect jacket for high-speed rides that raise your pulse rate. Its low weight also makes it easy to pack in a backpack. The design and details are adapted to ensure that the jacket functions optimally during a bike ride. The back of the jacket is longer than normal for extra comfort and protection when leaning forward on the seat of the bike. The high, adjustable collar and the elastic bands in the cuffs help keep the wind at bay. There is a zippered storage pocket and a waterproof flap with a magnetic closure in the back. The construction of the pocket makes it easy to access even when biking. There is also a zippered pocket on the chest for those wearing a backpack during their ride.
