Haglöfs wins grand slam in unique products

Haglöfs has won no less than four ISPO Awards, including two ISPO Award Gold Winner, for products from its coming autumn/winter 2013 collection. The prizes will be awarded during ISPO Munich – the leading international trade show for the sports and outdoor industry to be held February 3–6 this year.

In the lead up to autumn/winter 2013, Haglöfs will be launching a broader and more versatile collection than ever before, and four of the new products have already won prestigious prizes.

ISPO Award Gold Winner has been awarded to RANDO AS SUIT and ROCA II HOOD. RANDO AS SUIT is the world's first ski suit in 3-layer GORE-TEX® Active. In developmental work, Haglöfs has focused on using the properties of GORE's Active technology to be able to offer the lightest, most comfortable, watertight and breathable full-body ski garment on the market. ROCA II HOOD is a light, minimalist but durable soft shell jacket designed for tough days on the mountain. The jacket is manufactured with a unique combination of two GORE® WINDSTOPPER® materials, and lined with the highest performing synthetic insulation material on the market, QuadFusion+™.

Haglöfs has also won an ISPO Award Winner for two additional new products; VOJD ABS 30 – the market's lightest avalanche safety backpack with ABS system, and COULOIR PRO JACKET, a freeskiing jacket produced in 3-layer GORE-TEX® Soft Shell with unique 4-way stretch.

All products have been examined by a jury consisting of 57 independent industry and design experts from 14 countries and three continents. The prizes will be awarded at a ceremony during ISPO Munich – the leading international trade show for the sports and outdoor industry which will take place this year on February 3–6.
