HAGLÖFS WINS YET ANOTHER DESIGN AWARD
Outdoor company Haglöfs has won yet another design award as its reinforcement jacket BARRIER PRO III BELAY has been chosen Gold Winner in the Ispo Awards 2015. The award will be presented to Haglöfs at Ispo Munich 2015, the leading international trade show for the sports and outdoor industry, to be held February 5-8th.
BARRIER PRO III BELAY is Haglöfs' warmest insulated jacket in its Mountain segment. The jacket is designed for belaying situations combining a durable outer layer with QuadFusion™ Pro which has the absolute best insulating capacity in relation to weight that can be found in a synthetic insulation. QuadFusion™ Pro has a windproof and waterproof membrane and keeps in the warm air generated by the body. However, the membrane is also breathable, which means that comfort is not compromised. BARRIER PRO III BELAY has a spacious fit since the intention is that it will be worn on top of a shell jacket at the peak or during a short break on the mountain.
“This jacket was made to be the perfect reinforcement garment when on the mountain. Its design and construction really provide instant warmth, which is essential when carrying out activities in nature’s harshest environment” said Fredrik Lundberg, Strategic Design Manager at Haglöfs.
BARRIER PRO III BELAY will not be available in the stores until Fall/Winter 2015 but has already now been chosen Gold Winner in the prestigious Ispo Awards 2015. The award will be presented to Haglöfs during Ispo Munich 2015, the leading international trade show for the outdoor industry, which takes place February 5-8th 2015.
“We are very honored to receive yet another award for our design. And since all of us at Haglöfs really love this particular jacket we are a little extra proud that it was the one chosen as Gold Winner” concluded Fredrik Lundberg.
