CHRIS BOARDMAN LAUNCHES HIS JUNIOR BIKES COLLECTION

Aspiring cyclists take note Olympic champion Chris Boardman MBE has designed a new collection of Boardman Sport junior bikes, exclusively available from Halfords.

Specifically designed for junior riders the small frames do not compromise on specification.  Chris’ attention to detail and focus on performance and style are evident in every Boardman bike. The junior road, mountain and hybrid model have all been designed for riders aged from 9 to 16. 

The Boardman Road Sport Junior bike has a 46cm 7005 butted alloy frame on 700c wheels with Kenda 23c tyres. A 2x7 Shimano Claris/Tourney drive train gives a good gear spread and steel blade forks ensure decent aerodynamics reducing drag.  Priced £349.99.

The Boardman Hybrid Sport Junior bike has a 35cm 7005 butted alloy frame on 26”  wheels.  A triple chainset on a seven speed Shimano Tourney drive train ensure a wide gear ratio ideal for long but comfortable rides.  A flat bar with soft compound rubber grips and a Boardman E4P saddle ensure a comfortable cockpit.  Priced £299.99.

The Boardman Hardtail Sport Junior bike is built around a hardtail design with a 14” 7005 butted alloy frame on 26” E4P double wall wheels for strength.  Featuring a Suntour front suspension fork, Shimano Tourney 21-speed drive train and powerful Tektro V-brakes. Priced £299.99.
