HALFORDS MECHANICS GEAR UP FOR CHESHIRE CLASSIC CYCLE RIDE

The UK’s leading cycle retailer’s top mechanics will be on hand to provide support to riders at the Cheshire Classic, on Sunday 28th April 2013.

The Cheshire Classic is the longest standing race on the British Cycling National Calendar, the event is held in Northwich and spans 10 laps of a 7.7km circuit. Last year’s women’s road race was won by Paralympic superstar Sarah Storey. Previous winners include Olympic Silver medallist Lizzie Armitstead, Nicole Cooke and two time Junior World Champion Lucy Garner.

Best known for leading ladies’ brands Pendleton Bikes, Boardman FI and DAIR2B clothing, Halfords is applying its in-store attention to detail and technical expertise to ensure the popular woman’s road race is a huge success.

Cheshire Classic Event Organiser, Andy Wood said: “It’s great to have Halfords on board.
