Lord Mayor, Councillor Judith Lubbock previews Cycle Republic in Norwich
LORD MAYOR for Norwich, Councillor Judith Lubbock today previewed Cycle Republic, the new cycling-only concept store, which opens at Castle Mall Shopping Centre this Saturday.
The brand new store, part of the Halfords family, will deliver convenience, premium editions and expertise, an extensive range of parts, accessories and clothing plus click and collect available through www.cyclerepublic.com.
The Lord Mayor was joined by Cabinet Member for Environment, Development and Transport, Mike Stonard and several other local councillors to preview the store and test a bike service.
Cycle Republic Director Peter Kimberley said, “Norwich has made a commitment to make cycling more accessible and Cycle Republic will support cyclists of every level to get out on the road.”

The Norwich team will provide servicing and repairs at competitive prices, with courtesy bikes on hand and a new ‘try before you buy’ scheme for bikes.
The store has over 1,000 new lines exclusive to Cycle Republic, with 60% new products across clothing, helmets and footwear. To reflect the increasing number of women cyclists, the instore range comprises 30% female-specific products across clothing, helmets and footwear.
