Halton is renewing its strategic business area structure to strengthen its application-specific competitiveness and customer focus. The current SBA Halton Business Area will be restructured into two new business areas: Halton Buildings and Halton Health and Cleanroom. Meanwhile, the structures of Halton Foodservice and Halton Marine, Energy, and Infrastructure will remain unchanged.

“The target is to operate even more closely with our customers. The two new units will help sharpen our focus on specific application areas, accelerate implementations, and act more agilely in new markets,” says Kai Konola, CEO of Halton Group.

Anu Saxén, formerly the Director of SBA Halton Business Area, has been appointed Executive Vice President of Halton Health and Cleanroom Business Area. Tero Viherlehto, the former Sales Director of SBA Halton Business Area, has been named  Executive Vice President of Halton Buildings Business Area. Anu will remain a member of the Halton Group Senior Executive Team, and Tero will join as a new member.

“Over the years, we have developed innovative, sustainable solutions for healthcare and cleanroom environments. The new structure enables us to focus even more on creating high-value solutions for our customers, expanding geographically, and introducing our system and turnkey solutions to new markets,” says Anu Saxén.

Halton Buildings will focus on delivering sustainable ventilation solutions and lifecycle services to commercial and public buildings. “In addition to our ventilation and automation solutions, our offering now includes comprehensive tools for monitoring energy consumption and indoor environmental conditions. These new solutions enable us to scale sustainability improvements from individual buildings to entire real estate portfolios,” says Tero Viherlehto.

"Anu and Tero are outstanding leaders, driven by their passion for technology and sustainability. I extend my warmest congratulations to them and eagerly anticipate the success of our two new business areas under their guidance," adds Kai Konola.
