Handelsbanken has joined Diversity Charter Sweden, a network that aims to spread awareness and provide a cross-sector platform for exchanging strategies and experiences around diversity.

Sandra Åkerfors, Head of Recruitment and Diversity at Handelsbanken, says:

We view diversity as a central factor for thinking outside the box and innovation, and see it as closely linked to our success. Through this network, we hope to share our experiences, while at the same time find inspiration for ways we can continue to work actively with diversity.”

Koorosh Feizi works within the Bank’s IT department and is responsible for the unit’s employee diversity forum.

“The Bank’s membership of Diversity Charter Sweden is yet another positive step for our work with diversity ,” says Koorosh Feizi, who also points out the benefits of diversity: “We are all enriched by it – ourselves, our customers and society.”
