National Multiple Sclerosis Society Names HDIS “Nationwide Service Provider of the Month”

St. Louis, MO (January 31, 2013) — HDIS, Inc. is the Nationwide Service Provider of the Month for the National MS Society for December 2012. HDIS was chosen out of 160 Society-approved providers for the company’s product knowledge, customer relations and service excellence.   

“It is an honor for me and for our team members – from our Call Center to our Fulfillment Center – to be recognized for what they do every day,” said HDIS president and CEO, Bruce Grench.  “Each of our Customer Care Representatives undergoes four weeks of training before ever taking a call.  It’s important that they know the ins and outs of all of our products to ensure that the customers get the best possible guidance.”

The MS Society created a nationwide provider list as a service to their clients. This select group of vetted providers offers services, resources, professional advice, products and expert opinions regarding multiple sclerosis. Each month, the MS Society solicits suggestions from their nationwide staff regarding which provider should be chosen that month. Submissions come in from staff in the home office, the national call center and the 46 chapters. There have been 14 awardees to date.

“I can’t speak highly enough of HDIS,” wrote Colleen Spiegler, with the MS Society’s Western Pennsylvania Chapter. She added, “This is an exceptional business. As Provider of the Month, HDIS is promoted by the MS Society via a special bulletin that goes to the Society’s call center, alerting them of the honor and suggesting they make referrals to HDIS when possible. Also, the MS Society’s resource center receives 9,200 client contacts each month, and staff is encouraged to refer these clients to HDIS, when applicable. HDIS is also highlighted to the Society’s 46 chapters, and featured on the Society’s Facebook page, which has over 145,000 followers.
