Co-operative stores will be advertising the festival, which runs from 16-19 July in Stornoway in theislandofLewis, at 25 stores in the north ofScotland, with shoppers able to win a family weekend ticket for the event.

As part of the annual Hebridean Celtic Festival Shinty Challenge Cup, the company will also support the Lewis Camanachd Association and pre-final events to encourage young players into the sport.

HebCelt festival director Caroline Maclennan said: “The Co-operative has been a loyal and consistent supporter of the festival for many years and we are extremely grateful that it is continuing its invaluable support this year.”
