Heimstaden issues hybrid capital securities in the amount of SEK 2 000 million

Heimstaden AB (publ) (”Heimstaden” or ”the Company”) issues hybrid capital securities in the amount of SEK 2 000 million in the Nordic capital markets.

The hybrid capital securities are issued under a framework of SEK 5 billion, with the potential for issues in both SEK and EUR. The initial interest rate for the SEK hybrid capital securities was set to Stibor 3m + 590 bps. The hybrid capital securities are perpetual, a first repayment date occurs after 5.5 years, and will be accounted for as equity in the Company’s financial accounts. The Company intends to apply for admission to trading of the hybrid capital securities on Nasdaq Stockholm. The issue date is set to 11 April 2019. Proceeds from the issue are intended to be used for general corporate purposes, including investments and financing acquisitions, within both Heimstaden and Heimstaden Bostad as well as their subsidiaries.
