Continued growth for HiQ

Net sales for the first three quarters of the year amounts to SEK 1 345.6 million. Operating profit (EBIT) for the same period amounts to SEK 135.3 million. In the third quarter, net sales increase by 7 per cent to SEK 395.0 million and operating profit (EBIT) by 4.2 per cent to SEK 40.1 million. Our financial position remains strong. Cash flow during first three quarters of the year amounts to SEK 106.3 million and liquid assets total SEK 128.2 million.

“It is gratifying to see that we deliver good third quarter results both in Finland and in Sweden despite the fact that we don’t reach our full potential in western Sweden, where we have implemented measures and changes that we expect will give effect during the coming quarters,” says Lars Stugemo, president and CEO of HiQ.

“In 2018, HiQ continues to grow in the important industrial segment and expand its public sector ventures. Among other things, HiQ wins two comprehensive framework agreements with Kammarkollegiet, delivers more teams to the Swedish Tax Agency, wins new assignments for Inera and SKL in e-health, delivers more teams to leading players in the automotive industry, and wins framework agreements and becomes a digital partner with ATG.

“The market in 2018 is characterised by good demand where we are well positioned in technology, design and communication. We continue to help our clients with digitalisation, that is, utilising technological developments to simplify and improve things for their customers. We continue to win new customers and we continue to cultivate existing partnerships,” says Lars Stugemo.

“In Finland, there is steadily increasing demand for both our systems integration services and for our Frends integration platform. In Sweden, we do our first Frends business with Euro Finans. An area that is growing rapidly,” says Lars Stugemo.

In the flourishing area that lies in the borderland between digital innovation, design and marketing, HiQ continues to both attract attention and do new business. This includes developing and launching solutions for Yamaha Motors Europe that help people get more out of their motorcycles, building digiphysical experiences for children at LEGO House and continuing to win even more impressive design and innovation awards for the prototype of a digital driver’s licence that our team from Great Apes created.

“In conclusion, I can say that technology has never developed faster than it is now – but it will never go this slow again either. This will continue to allow us to stretch the limits of what is possible. New solutions foster new needs – and new needs foster new solutions. And backed by a strong employee team, a fantastic list of brave, innovative customers and strong finances, HiQ will remain a leading player on the market well into the future. I am absolutely convinced of it,” says Lars Stugemo.
