HiQ ESTABLISHES COOPERATION WITH STOCKHOLM GLOBE ARENAS
HiQ is establishing a partnership with Stockholm Globe Arenas (SGA) to create a mobile solution for more rapid and more efficient communication with visitors to SGA’s venues. This new cooperation sees HiQ further consolidate its position in the expanding event and entertainment industry.
Stockholm Globe Arenas are important in confirming Stockholm’s role as a world-class tourist destination and host for major events. Here, close to the very heart of Stockholm, visitors can enjoy a huge variety of events in the Ericsson Globe, Annexet, Hovet and Söderstadion arenas, and from the summer of 2013 also in the Tele2 Arena, one of Europe’s most modern and most flexible multi-purpose arenas. Now HiQ is helping SGA to improve its communication with its many visitors.
“With more and more people using their smartphones to search for information and do business via the internet, it seemed the natural step to adapt the Stockholm Globe Arenas website to mobile operating systems and e-readers. We solved the challenge by creating a mobile web with a clear focus on simplicity and business benefits. This current project marks the start of long-term collaboration,” says Bo Ringdahl, Managing Director of HiQ in Stockholm.
“Stockholm Globe Arenas host over 300 events a year that attract more than 1.5 million visitors. These figures will rise even higher when the Tele2 Arena opens for business next year. For us, mobile communication channels are a priority for establishing a dialogue with our visitors that is as open and effective as possible, and this is something that our cooperation with HiQ has made easier for us to achieve,” says SGA Marketing Manager, Johan Seidefors.
HiQ is winning ever greater numbers of mobile communication and web-related assignments. HiQ is also increasingly involved in projects for the event and entertainment industry, including the Alpine World Cup in Levi, Finland, the 2013 European Athletics Championships and this year’s Peace & Love music festival in Borlänge, Sweden.
“The industry needs mobile solutions for simplifying ticket booking procedures, distributing information and marketing events. Our many years’ experience of the technology combined with our expertise in using mobile solutions to create business benefits means we are very well placed to succeed in this exciting and expanding segment. We are both happy and proud to be establishing cooperation with Stockholm Globe Arenas,” says Lars Stugemo, President and CEO of HiQ.
