HiQ helps AppCampus – the world’s largest mobile acceleration program, aiming to foster innovation and create a new generation of mobile start-ups. The collaboration is part of a new frame agreement between HiQ and the future-oriented Aalto University.

”One of the most important missions of AppCampus is to create the most innovative and high-quality apps for the Windows Phone ecosystem. During the next three years we want to see the start of new mobile success stories such as Rovio and Supercell within our program”, says Alina Kangasluoma, Head of Communications at AppCampus.

HiQ is an expert on mobility as well as on quality assurance and testing. In line with a new three-year frame agreement with Finnish Aalto University, HiQ is helping AppCampus in ensuring that the mobile solutions have the highest possible quality.

”We are not looking for merely new applications but the most innovative and unique concepts. Therefore quality assurance plays a critical role. HiQ has both the best know-how as well as the flexibility and right attitude for our line of work,” Kangasluoma concludes.

Managed by Aalto University and funded by Microsoft and Nokia, AppCampus was kicked off in May 2012. Since the launch around 2500 candidates from 95 different countries have applied to the program. 150 teams have been accepted and close to 20 new apps have already been released.

”High quality is a key part of what we do at HiQ, and being part of creating valuable solutions that simplify people’s lives is another. We are very excited and honoured to be part of the innovative work of AppCampus,” says Jukka Rautio, Managing Director at HiQ Finland.
