HiQ NOMINATED FOR PRESTIGOUS DESIGN PRIZE
HiQ has been nominated for the Swedish Design Prize on the basis of the work for the West Swedish Chamber of Commerce in developing the app Visitkortsflippen. The result was an easy to use app that clearly communicates the Chamber of Commerce's brand. Now, the app's design has been recognised through its nomination for a renowned design prize.
"HiQ understood immediately what we wanted to communicate with the app and adopted a user's perspective throughout its development. We are very proud of the app and have our fingers crossed that its design will take home first prize on 18 October," says David Hagetoft, Head of Marketing at West Sweden Chamber of Commerce.
The app is used frequently at different types of events where visitors share their contact information with each other. The app's key feature is being able to share business cards virtually using your mobile phone wherever you are and being able to download other people's business cards directly to your phone. On Android Play (the equivalent of Apple's App Store), you can read comments from users like "I've been looking for this kind of app, thanks!" and "Perfect for business cards. A really good alternative to printed business cards! Will start using it right away."
"The Chamber of Commerce had an idea for an app that would strengthen its position as a place to meet and network. In order for the concept to work and communicate its message properly, the idea needed to be packaged in a user-friendly way. We are very proud of our nomination. This year also saw a record 383 nominations for the prize. This naturally makes it all the more impressive to be chosen," says Jerker Lindstén, Managing Director of HiQ Göteborg.
