HiQ NOMINATED TO “GULDMOBILEN” AS MOBILE DEVELOPER OF THE YEAR
HiQ is nominated in the prestigious category ”Developer of the year” at the Swedish Mobility Awards Mobilgalan. Swish, one of HiQ’s most noticed mobility cases during the year, also has several nominations.
“With almost twenty years of experience from the telecom sector, we have massive know-how and experience that we can use when creating innovative and simplifying mobile solutions. Swish is a great example of that and we are proud to see that the service is appreciated, by the users as well as by the Guldmobilen jury,” HiQs CEO Lars Stugemo says.
Swish, that HiQ created together with Bankgirot is a shared service for Sweden’s six largest banks: SEB, Handelsbanken, Nordea, Danske Bank, Länsförsäkringar Bank, and the various branches of Swedbank and Sparbankerna. Swish enables individuals to transfer money in real time, without card readers or long account numbers. All that is needed for the transaction is the recipient’s mobile phone number. The application has been one of the huge mobile successes of the year, with over 500 000 active users.
